These terms cover this website and the CHKT app. Using either means you accept them.

What CHKT is

CHKT is a reminders app for Android, published by Lightmorphic Ltd. It is free to use and shows one banner advertisement at the foot of the reminder list. Removing that banner costs GBP 2.99 a year, taken through Google Play, and is the only thing there is to buy. No feature is held back behind it.

The app is licensed to you, not sold. You may use it on your own devices. You may not copy it, take it apart, change it, or pass it on.

The subscription renews yearly through your Google account until you cancel it, which you do in Google Play rather than here. Refunds are Google Play's to give, under their terms.

What it is not

CHKT is a reminder app. It is not a medical device, a medication management system, a safety system or a monitoring service, and it must not be relied on where a missed reminder would cause harm. It depends on your phone being on, charged and working, and on Android choosing to run it. Android can delay or stop background apps, and no app can override that with certainty.

Liability

The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Lightmorphic Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from a reminder that did not arrive, arrived late, or arrived when it should not have. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, because the law does not allow that to be limited.

The information here is a description of the software, kept as accurate as we can. It is not a promise that any particular feature will exist in a future version. Links to other sites are for convenience, and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
